I can't even believe that my little Sarah has turned 1 already! March was such a crazy month too, Sarah got to celebrate her birthday on 3 different days with different people. I know my posts are out of order, but out of order is better than no posts at all right?
March 16, 2010 Sarah's actual birthday! My camera battery died so I only have a few pictures of her little party. Luckily Aunt NeeNee got a bunch, I just haven't copied them yet, so this will have to do! Joseph and I were watching the Brown's kids on the week of her birthday so we had a small little family party at their house. She got a few gifts and a birthday cupcake, as well as a popsicle. Surprisingly she LOVED the popsicle so much that she cried until I gave her another one. The poor girl held it in her hand too, so her little hand was frozen when she was done!

Sarah's first year of life has seriously been the fastest year of mine! Here she is rockin' her party hat and birthday badge with Daddy

We had a fun party at Joseph's parents house the Sunday before her birthday

Maddy's favorite part of it was the blowers.. she blew them at everyone, and then saved them in a little bag and carried them around for weeks afterwards....

Sarah was pretty amused by them too...

She wanted to grab the candles SO bad, and almost did... She is not afraid of anything. Here is her beautiful birthday cake that Grandmama made for her.

Yay for presents! Sarah got a Veggie Tales DVD, it is the only show that she will sit through the whole way through... it's pretty funny. No matter what she is doing, she will freeze and stare at the tv unil the show is over. It makes my life a little easier too :)
Of course Maddy "needed" to help her open her presents...

Grandmama and her Granddaughters

Sarah's favorite gift of all time... a play remote control. This girl LOVES to press buttons and figure out how things work. Where Grandaddy found this toy I'll never know, but I'm sure glad he did!

I'm not sure what Joseph's face is all about in this picture... but Sarah's face is too cute!

Ready and waiting for some birthday cake... We had a great time celebrating Sarah's birthday with Joseph's family. Sarah thinks its her birthday everyday now!

Well, I believe I was caught off guard when this picture was taken! Here I am the morning of the Passey family birthday BBQ, rockin' my pregnant belly! Here I am about 6 months along with #3

My side of the family has a few birthdays in March. We decided to have a combined birthday party at the Myrtle Beach State Park to celebrate my sister Erynn, my grandpa and little Sarah's birthday. We had a potluck BBQ, and it was sooooo good!
My dad and Joseph having a heart to heart....

Maddy's favorite thing to get my grandpa is Jelly Beans... so when she comes over to visit, she can eat them! I also made some yummy cupcakes for the birthday kids to enjoy! My grandpa is a kid at heart!
Sarah was all about her cupcake too.

Maddy only licked off the icing, but that's no surprise

Uncle Scott had the honors of giving Sarah her cupcake... he's lucky it didn't end up all over him!

I love this picture, Sarah and Stephanie are making the same face!

Sarah and Mamacheri having a good time

This is a great picture too, my grandpa "Papa" enjoying the ocean from the board walk

It was a great day at the State Park, and apparently we were the last family to enjoy sitting on this bench... Shortly after this picture was taken some boy scouts showed up and replaced it with a new one!
So Sarah had a very active birthday week! We are so lucky to live so close to so much family. What a lucky little girl to have so many people that love her and want to celebrate her birthday with her!

Sarah absolutely loves this rocking chair! Lately I can almost always find her in it "reading" a book. Maddy thinks it's pretty funny too, every time Sarah climbs into it, she comes running to get me so I can come see.

I thought this spot made for a great photo opportunity... I think I was right. Aren't they cute?

Maddy's "big cheese" after her Easter egg hunt

Sarah wouldn't smile because she was too busy jabbering about the eggs and the grass... oh well, she still looks adorable.

We went to my Grandparents house the monday after Easter for a huge Easter egg hunt. This year each of the kids had their own color eggs to find that matched their basket. Sarah actually found some of her eggs! Aunt Neenee helped her out ;)

Maddy wasted NO time looking for her eggs! She was so excited!

They each had 10 eggs to find that had prizes to go along with them after the hunt was over

As Maddy bent down to pick up this egg she paused in horror to see the broken bird feeder on the ground. I had to reassure her that it was okay, and to keep looking for eggs. She is so sensitive!

We spent Easter/Conference weekend at Joseph's Parents house. We had a lot of fun doing Easter things and watching Conference together. On Easter morning Maddy found that the Easter bunny brought her a Zhu Zhu pet (which she has been asking for for a month or so). She quickly found a carrot full of Jelly beans and decided that it was for her new pet so she wouldn't be hungry.

Sare-Bear also got a Zhu Zhu pet... she LOVED crawling after it all around the kitchen. When it tips over she just puts her finger along the wheels on the bottom and lets them rub against her finger. She thinks it's hilareous!

Sarah spent a great deal of time playing with soda bottles and trying to eat the lemons and limes in the bowl. As if she never gets fed....

Maddy was sooo excited to decorate Easter eggs, all she wanted to do was put the stickers on them. After she begged all afternoon, she only decorated 3 of them... I guess it wasn't as much fun without Uncle Ryan to help out.

Maddy supervising Grandmama while she colored the eggs. Maddy wanted to stir the eggs, but she came very close several times to spilling the coloring all over the counters.... Needless to say I was glad we only colored 12.

Maddy also got to go to a primary activity where they made Easter basket cupcakes and got to go on an Easter egg hunt. I don't have any pictures of her looking for eggs because my camera wasn't fully charged... but I think my mom took pictures. If I ever get copies of them I'll post them! All and all it's been a very busy past 2 months. I guess things really aren't going to slow down from here either! Baby #3 will be here in just 3 months! Time is going by way toooo fast!
