Baby Jennings!! We had our anatomy ultrasound last thursday and everything looks great. The baby is measuring exactly on date and is very squirmy! We didn't find out if it's a boy or a girl... so we still have a little less than 4 months to go! We are very excited to welcome our new addition to our family. Maddy is really hoping it's another sister. I even think she'll be upset if it's not... time will tell. Hopefully you can make out this picture.. the baby is lying on its back with its bum up in the air and its legs tucked in. Silly baby.Maddy and Sarah are loving eachother more and more! They love playing together and making huge messes! Maddy is really good (most of the time) at sharing her toys with Snoop Sare-Bear StahNizzle (Daddy's new name for Sarah). They love playing Mr. Potato head together.

Sarah is getting so big! She'll be a year old in just 4 days. I can't even believe it. Here she is rockin' pajamas that Maddy just grew out of this past winter. Then again Maddy is super thin for her age. She just got weighted yesterday and came in at a whoppin' 29lbs. At this rate she'll be 10 before she can move up to a booster seat for the car!
She loves to do whatever Maddy is doing. I think Maddy is starting to get tired of it, but for the most part she is a good sport.
This picture scares me. I guess I should explain that we went on a little family vacation last weekend to see Uncle Phillip, Aunt Stefani, cousin Addison and cousin Cooper. Addison has a make-up kit that Maddy just adored. This is a picture of Maddy after she has applied her make-up. I guess she doesn't understand that it goes on her eyelids, not the brows!! I will be sure to show this picture to her first date...
Uncle Phillip and Aunt Stefani treated us to Chuck E. Cheese while we were there. It was so much fun! Maddy was a bit timid at first. She just wanted to watch everyone else play. SO Sarah and I took a ride on the giant rocking horse. We rode it about 4 times. Sarah loved it.
Maddy joined us for the last ride, but from the looks of this picture she really wasn't that thrilled!! Sarah is giving her a look as if to say - Girl whats your problem?? They had tunnels that you could crawl through, and it wasn't until she saw Addison play in them and come out the slide that Maddy realized that this was definately something she needed to do.
She even stayed in there after Addison came out to eat some pizza! I was shocked. Of course that was about the time we were getting ready to leave... why is it that kids finally warm up to things when it's time to go?

Snoop Sare-Bear StahNizzle chillin' at the table. She ate an entire slice of pizza in record time. Then the poor girl was ready for a nap.
Joseph and I took turns holding Sarah and trying to win some tickets to get Maddy some cool prizes. We won a combined 424 tickets, and two bags of cotton candy. What did Maddy want to get with those tickets?? Rubber snakes. Seriously Maddy? How about a pretty bracelet? If I even suggested anything else she had a meltdown. SO we ended up going home with 2 bags of cotton candy, a ring, a tin Chuck E. Cheese lunch box, and not 1,not 2 but 3 rubber snakes. What a weirdo!! When we got back to the house Sarah took a super long nap while Maddy and Addison played in the back yard. It was interrupted when a old hatchback car started smoking in the front of the house. The car was on fire, so Phillip called 911, then out of the blue a firefighter dressed from head to toe in his gear came running down the street towards the car. There was no fire truck or anything so I'm guessing this guy lived in the neighborhood. Well Maddy gets really excited and yells "FIREFIGHTER TO THE RESCUE!! GOOO FIREFIGHTER!!" It was so funny. Then the fire truck came and as Maddy puts it "saved the car". It was amusing to us, but I'm sure the guy who owned the car was not to amused. The girls got to see the fire department in action though, so it's a good day in my book!
After the whole car fire thing, we had a blast playing in the backyard. Uncle Phillip pushed cousin Addison around really fast, and then of course Maddy wanted in on it too. So Maddy got a turn. I thought it was funny because Grandaddy tries to push her in the same car at their house and she gets so scared! I guess after watching Addison she realized all the fun she was missing out on!

Maddy had the time of her life playing in Addison's backyard. They have so many fun toys! After the car they got to ride together in the wagon.

And if that wasn't fun enough they have a cool parachute like in elementary school! The girls loved it!

We serioulsy need to get one of these! It was so fun. They put balls on it and counted to three and sent them flying into the air. My house is definately not this fun. No wonder Maddy asks me every day if we can go back to play with Addison!!
Uncle Phillip is looking SO cool with the parachute on his face! SO cool infact, Maddy felt the need to do it too!

Ah, My little ray of sunshine!

As if car rides, and wagon rides and balls and parachutes weren't enough, Maddy played T-ball! I'm telling you... they have a magic shed that produces the coolest toys when you get bored with the one you've got! Ha ha, no but really, Maddy had a great time swinging around the bat. She wasn't so bad at hitting the ball either!

Thanks to Aunt Stefani and Uncle Phillip for an awesome weekend! Now the pressure is on to entertain them as much as they did us next time they come down! Hopefully there will be another post soon seeing that my little Sarah is having her very first birthday in 4 days!! She gets to have 3 parties too! One with my side of the family on Saturday. We're having a BBQ at the State Park to celebrate Sarah's Birthday along with my sister Erynn, and my grandpa! Then another one on Sunday with Joseph's family and finally she'll get her cake on her actual birthday! What a lucky girl!
