I was sitting on the couch and when I looked down I saw the girls watching TV - sitting just like this... It is pretty much the cutest thing I have ever seen.
All ready to go to Grandmama's house! I was surprised that Sarah didn't mind wearing this hat. She just sat there looking all cute in her little seat.

These outfits were given to us at different times by different people... and I was so excited when I realized the girls could match! This is the first time they have ever dressed alike. ( and it won't be the last) I think I'm really going to like having two girls...

Sarah and Stephanie (Aunt Neenee) waiting for our BBQ Dinner to start.
We went to Mama and Papa's to shoot fireworks for the fourth of July. Maddy ended up in the house watching "Wow Wow Wubzy" and "Blues Clues" with daddy because she was terrified of the fireworks. Sarah joined them... It is August now and Maddy still asks us if there will be fireworks every time we go outside. Curse that memory of hers :)

We went to Georgetown for a BBQ lunch and boat ride with Josephs family
on July 4th. Maddy really enjoyed it, but she wanted to play in the water and was devastated when we wouldn't let her go in. You would think riding on a boat would be enough! I'm starting to realize that nothing you do is ever enough....

Maddy had a blast on the boat and would wave to the other people in their boats or on other docks

Boating on the 4th of July. Sarah stayed on the dock with Grandmama because she doesn't have a life jacket.

Sarah has taken a liking to this stuffed panda that Uncle Scott bought for Maddy. Luckily Maddy thinks that it is Sarah's panda or we would have a problem...

Maddy loves playing with her stuffed animals. She also loves playing with her sister. She recently discovered that she can do both at the same time!

Sarah, exhausted from our trip to Atlanta. She slept all the way home from Columbia
Day game on Saturday

Aunt Naomi and Uncle Stephen keeping Sarah cool

Maddy was soooo tired from our trip. She slept the whole way home from Columbia as well. She had drool going and everything!

We went with Joseph's family to Atlanta to see the Red Sox play the Braves... (Normally we go to see the CUBS play the Braves) Since Joseph's team wasn't there Maddy was allowed to wave the Tomahawk and cheer with the other Braves fans. She had a blast! She might not be aware yet, but she is being conditioned to be a CUBS fan.
We caught a Friday night game and a Saturday afternoon game. It was so incredibly hot both days, so we got some little fans from Walmart that sprayed mist to keep the girls cool. Maddy was more interested in them than the game...

Wasn't it nice of us to block everyone's view of the field to take this picture?! I promise we waited until the inning was over before we took it.

Uncle Ryan was blowing the fan at Sarah and then he'd spray water in her face. She gasped every time, but I think she liked it! At least she never cried...

Sarah was not interested at all in the game.... of course I don't think she can see that far yet so Granddaddy's face was her entertainment. She had a good time.

Sarah and Cousin Michelle
Whats Buzzin' Cousin??? I had such a good time when Michelle came!

Sarah managed to get a bit of a sunburn on the beach, even though she was NEVER in the sun!!!

Maddy was so excited to have her cousin come see her. She kept saying "Michelle is mommy's cousin and Addison is Maddy's cousin."

We spent a day on the beach... the people set up next to us dug a huge hole and when they left Maddy took it over.... She is standing, and Joshua is sitting next to her!
Maddy watering her hole... hoping it will grow...

Sarah's idea of a good time at the beach.

Cousin Michelle came for a visit the last two weeks in June. We had a blast, and Maddy keeps asking when she is going to come home

My Uncle Allen and Sarah, Allen came down for my great grandmothers funeral. He and his wife Karolyn loved taking care of Sarah

Happy Father's day! Maddy and Sarah put their hand prints all around a picture frame and gave Joseph this picture for Father's Day.
Sarah relaxing at the pool

Maddy's new favorite thing to do...put on Sarah's bibs, socks, hats, and any other piece of clothing she can get her hands on! She likes to dress daddy up too!

I never thought Maddy would have enough hair to do this... she's had next to no hair for soooo long!

Every time I put Sarah in the bumbo Maddy sits next to her and says "Mommy take a picture of me and Sarah!"
